The Gospel means "Good News" to all people.  It is human nature to want to go to Heaven.  The  problem is, how can we get there for sure?  So here's the good news . . .

G -  Gift.  Heaven is a free gift to all people.  The bad news:  Bible says that "we have come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23), so we can not get to Heaven on our own.  We can never afford to pay or work enough, in order to get to Heaven.  But here's the good news: His Word promises that Heaven is absolutely a "gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8-9).

O -  Offer.  God the Father offered His Son Jesus Christ to pay for the penalty of all our sins on the cross.  Through His death and resurrection, Christ paved the only way for anyone of us to get  saved.  Scriptures says Jesus is "the way, the truth, and the life." Nobody can come to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

S -  Sinners.  Sin is what keeps us from Heaven.  All of us have sinned, and the wages of sin is death in Hell (Romans 6:23).  But God gives the solution for our problem of sin by giving us a Savior who died and rose again from the dead.  It is written in His Word:  "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

P - Pardon.  By coming to God in repentance of our sins, the Bible promises God's forgiveness for all our sins.  "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

E - Eternal Life.   Abundant and pure joy, peace, riches, and everlasting life (just to name a few), await every believer in Heaven to experience for all eternity.   But eternal life begins the moment you trust Jesus as your Savior.  "Whosoever shall call upon the name Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).   

L - Love.  God truly loves you.  He gave His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, to save us from our sins and to deliver us from Hell, so that we can surely have everlasting life in Heaven through faith in Him (John 3:16).  Since God loves us, let us share His aloha.

Isn't this Good News you can use? Would you pray right now, believing with all your heart, to ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and invite Him to come into your heart as Savior?  The Bible says:  "but as many as received Him to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in His name (John 1:12)."
